The Windy & Beautiful Roads to Mendocino

We recommend driving scenic route 128 west. Let the red carpet to the Mendocino Coast roll-out before you. Take in the bucolic apple orchards of Boonville & Philo, the rolling vineyards of Anderson Valley wine country, and finally Navarro's towering redwoods, all leading you to the grand Pacific.

Highway 20 will get you to the Coast, but it doesn't match 128's splendor.

If you can drive highway 1 south to Jenner or further, we love that drive out, as well.

 

 

Nearest Airports

Santa Rosa Airport (STS) is 2 hours away and gorgeous the whole drive.

Oakland (OAK) and San Francisco (SFO) airports are both about a 3.5-4 hour drive.

Little River Airport is available for small private aircraft.
